this workshop is for you if you want to learn more about botanical soap making & food grade ingredients in your soap

where: the curated, altstetterstrasse 138, 8048 zürich (opposite of La Taqueria) 

when: wednesdays 18:00-21:00

level: beginner friendly

max. no of participants: 5

in this workshop you will learn:

  • how to create a truly botanical soap with ingredients from your garden & pantry 

  • how to use botanical coloring

  • how to enhance your soap with food grade ingredients

If you wish to use your own special home grown ingredient, please bring it with you. We have a wide selection of common ingredients on site but of course we cannot cover everything. :) What can be used:

  • teas
  • dried herbs
  • powders (spices, freeze dried fruit powders, rice powder, powdered herbs)
  • fresh juices (without pulp)
  • fresh purees (without big chunks of fruits/veggies)
  • milks, yoghurt (without flavoring)
  • alcohol (beer, wine - please boil them at home for 20-30 min to evaporate the alcohol content)

apprx. 50g teas/herbs/powders/purees or max 200ml liquids are needed.

In the workshop, each participant will customize a basic recipe with botanical & food grade ingredients and create a 1.3kg soap loaf (13 soap bars) with their customized recipe. the soaps will dry a couple of days at our studio and will be sent to you by post / you can pick them up.

after the workshop you will receive a link to all the documentation as well.

the workshop will be held in german, english or bilingual, depending on group preference.

if you cancel up to 48 hours before the day of the workshop, you will receive a 100% refund. if you cancel one day before the workshop, we will charge a fee of 60 CHF. we reserve the right not to refund for no-shows or cancellations on the day of the workshop.
